Yehia El Alaily – يحيى العلايلي
Based in Cairo, Egypt, Yehia El Alaily is a British-Egyptian photographer renowned for his expertise in food, travel, and lifestyle photography, rooted in a commitment to preserving cultural heritage.
His professional repertoire entails an array of commercial and editorial projects spanning Egypt, the Middle East, and Europe. His notable clients include The Four Seasons, IHG, Nestle, Arla, Hilton, Americana, Pizza Hut, Hardees, and other esteemed establishments.
In the publishing realm, his notable works include “Kitchen Memoirs” and the bestselling Middle Eastern cookbook, “Bilhana”. He collaborated with the UN World Food Programme to publish “Empowering Women Through Cooking for Egypt.” He was one of three photographers who contributed to “Downtown Cairo: The Stories and the Stories Within,” offering an authentic portrayal of the area; his work emphasizes on the area’s restaurants and bars.
His editorial work extends to renowned entities such as Conde Nast, BBC, Washington Post, Google, Rawi Magazine.
