Omar Zaki – عمر زكى

Born 1996 in Pietrasanta, Italy, Italian-Egyptian Omar Zaki began learning about technical tools and skills for sculpting bronze and carving stone through his father Khaled Zaki. He worked in the studio as his assistant between both the cities of Cairo and Pietrasanta.

In 2016, he divided his time between the Netherlands and Italy, enrolling at the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences where he studied Dutch Language and Business Management courses for two years. He later returned to Egypt to complete his university studies in Marketing & International Business as well as to pursue the art of drawing and sculpting.

He has exhibited his work at the 30^th Youth Salon (2020), Ubuntu Revisited 4 (2020) and TAM Summer Exhibition (2020).

ولد عمر زكي لأم إيطالية وأب مصري عام ١٩٩٦ في بيتراسانتا بإيطاليا وبدأ في تعلم مهارات نحت البرونز واستخدام أدواته وتشكيل الحجر وتطويعه من خلال والده الفنان النحات خالد زكي. عمل عمر كمساعد لوالده في مرسمه في القاهرة وكذلك في بيتراسانتا – إيطاليا

بدأ عمر زكي بتقسيم وقته بين هولندا وإيطاليا عام ٢٠١٦ فالتحق بجامعة روتردام للعلوم التطبيقية حيث درس دورات تعلم اللغة الهولندية وإدارة الأعمال لمدة عامين. عند عودته إلى مصر بعد ذلك استكمل دراسته الجامعية في التسويق والإدارة الدولية وتابع عمله كفنان ونحات

شارك عمر زكي في صالون الشباب عام ٢٠٢٠ وكذلك معرض أوبونتو كمان وكمان الرابع ومعرض آرت سمارت الصيفي في نفس العام
