حسن محمد حسن مواليد القاهرة عام ١٩٠٦ إلتحق في مرحلة الطفولة بالمدرسة الأولية مدرسة شرف الإسكندرانى بشبرا ثم مدرسة الفنون والزخارف بالحمزاوى (الفنون التطبيقية حاليًا) وتخرج عام ١٩٢٦ وعمل مدرسًا فيها وتدرج فى مناصب الكلية إلى أن وصل إلى درجة أستاذ ورئيس قسم تاريخ وفلسفة الفن للدراسات العليا ومواد التصوير بكلية الفنون التطبيقية. قضى طفولته فى حى شبرا ثم سافر في بعثاته إلى إيطاليا و ألمانيا وتشيكوسلوفاكيا وفلسطين وعند رجوعه عام ١٩٣١ تزوج واستمر فى حى شبرا حتى عام ١٩٥٩ حيث انتقل إلى الهرم شارع المريوطية فى مرسمه الجديد وعاش فيه حتى وفاته ١٩٩٠ للفنان العديد من المعارض الفردية في مصر وخارجها وله مقتنيات رسمية منها ستة لوحات بمتحف الفن المصرى الحديث

Hassan Mohamed Hassan was born in Cairo 1906. In his primary years he attended Alexandria Honorary School in Shubra, he then went to the School of Arts and Decoration in El Hamzawy (the Faculty of Applied Arts) and graduated in 1926. He worked as a teacher in the faculty of Applied arts, through the years of teaching he became Professor and Head of the History and Philosophy of Arts Department in the faculty.
He spent his childhood in Shubra and travelled through scholarships and expeditions to Italy, Germany, Czechoslovakia and Palestine. In 1931 Hassan married and continued to be based in Shubra. He then moved to El Haram in 1959 where his new studio was located and lived there until his passing in 1990.
Hassan had many solo exhibitions in Egypt and in other countries and six of his artworks are a part of The Egyptian Modern Art Museum’s collection.
