Rana Samir – رانا سمير
رانا سمير مواليد 1995 حاصلة على بكالوريوس الفنون الجميلة، جامعة حلوان عام 2018.
تعتمد رانا في أغلب أعمالها على الرسم ولكنها تسعى أيضًا لاستكشاف الوسائط المختلفة كالحرف اليدوية والفيديو. تجد رانا قدرًا كبيرًا من الإلهام في تجارب حياتها الشخصية بين الماضي والحاضر والمجتمع من حولها، وفكرة الإقتناء وتجميع الأشياء.
شاركت رانا في معارض جماعية متعددة في مصر وألمانيا. كما كانت لها مشاركات في صالون الشباب في نسختيه الـ28 والـ30 ، وفي معرضي “Nights with Rodents” و “Blue” بقاعة أركيد، ومعرضي “VERVE” و “The Blue Hippo Project” من خلال ArtD’Egypte ، ومعرض مصر الدولي الثاني للفنون. كما شاركت في مشروع “Informal City Park” وهو مشروع مشترك بين فنانين مصريين وألمان وأقيم المعرض في قاعة ” a&o | Kunsthalle” في لايبزيغ – ألمانيا
Rana Samir born 1995 and a class 2018 Fine Arts graduate. Rana mostly depends on illustration but also explores various mediums, using ready-mades, crafts, and video. She finds a great deal of inspiration in her personal life experiences, past and present, surroundings and people. She is genuinely inspired by the concept of collecting and collections.
Rana participated in multiple group exhibitions in Egypt, also in Germany. She participated in the 28th and 30th Youth Salon, and in “Nights with Rodents”and “Blue” exhibitions curated by Arcade Gallery, also participated in “VERVE” and “The Blue Hippo Project” exhibitions by ArtD’Egypte, and participated in the 2nd Egypt International Art Fair. She participated in “Informal City Park” a project between Egyptian and German artists and its exhibition at the a&o kunsthalle, Leipzig, Germany.
