Karim Khalife – كريم خليفة

ولد في لندن سنة 1992 وبدأ الرسم في سن الحادية عشر. بدأ دراسته في مصر ثم حصل على دبلومة الضيافة من إنجلترا. تدور أعماله حول الأماكن والأشخاص التي تأثر بها سواء في مصر أو خارجها. ودرس الفن في مدرسة “سوما آرت” في مصر. لم يحترف خليفة أسلوب معين من الرسم لكنه يفضل العمل بأسلوبه الخاص الحر. يعتبر هذا هو المعرض الفردي الثاني له حيث أقام معرضه الفردي الأول في قاعة أوبونتو بالقاهرة عام 2017

Born in London in 1992, Karim Khalife started painting at the young age of 11. He attended school in Egypt & then went on to earn a Diploma in Hospitality in Somerset, UK.
His work revolves around people & places that have left a lasting impression on him whether locally in Egypt or abroad whilst travelling. He has attended informal art lessons  in SOMA Art School. Khalife has never conformed to a specific style of painting & prefers developing his own “free-style”. This is Karim’s second solo exhibition as he held his first solo exhibition in Ubuntu art gallery in Cairo in 2017.

Eman Barakat – إيمان بركات

ولدت إيمان بركات في الجيزة عام ١٩٨٨، و تخرجت في كلية التربية الفنية بجامعة حلوان عام ٢٠١١ متخصصة في النحت، وحصلت على درجة الماجيستير في نفس التخصص عام ٢٠١٨

تستخدم إيمان خامات حية مألوفة كالأحجار والبرونز في تنفيذ منحوتاتها وتعيد صياغتها بما يلائم الحالة الفنية لكل عمل، و تعتمد علي تجريد وتبسيط التفاصيل في العناصر التي تقوم بإعادة صياغتها خاصة عنصر الحيوان كالفيل  والفأر”بين الحركة والسكون” في محاولة إظهار الطاقة والكتلة ككل وعلاقتهم بالفراغ المحيط

شاركت في العديد من المعارض الفنية كمعرض جائزة آدم حنين لفن النحت عام ٢٠١٩، وسمبوزيوم النحت الدولي بأسوان في دورته عام ٢٠١٨، والمعرض العام عام ٢٠١٨، وصالون الشباب، ومعرض أوستراكا للفنون عام ٢٠١٥، ومهرجان ضي للشباب وصالون الجنوب ومعرض جمعية محبي الفنون الجميلة على مدار خمسة أعوام متتالية. كما شاركت في العديد من المعارض في قاعة أوبونتو كمعرض زوايا تجريدية ٢٠١٨، ومعرض أوبونتو كمان وكمان ٢٠١٧، ٢٠١٨، ٢٠١٩

كما حصلت على منحة التفرغ لثلاث أعوام، وكذلك الجائزة الثانية في النحت بمعرض جائزة آدم حنين لعام عام ٢٠١٩، وجائزة صالون الشباب للنحت مناصفة ، وجائزة الفنان حسن حشمت مرتين في عامي ٢٠١٤ و ٢٠١٧، وجائزة الفنان زكريا الخنيني وجائزة الفنانة عايدة عبد الكريم. وللفنانة مقتنيات في المتحف المفتوح بأسوان ولدى أفراد في مصر وغيرها

Eman Barakat was born in Giza in 1988. She graduated from the department of sculpture, Faculty of Art Education, Helwan University in 2011 and received her master’s degree in 2018 in the same major.

Barakat’s work utilises familiar forms and raw materials like granite and bronze which she reformulates to suit the artistic condition of each work. She depends on the doctrine of abstraction when it comes to the reformulation process, particularly her signature animal element such as the elephant and the rat as a representation of stillness and movement in an attempt to show mass and energy as a whole and their relation to the surrounding vacuum.

She has participated in various art exhibitions, namely the Adam Henein Prize Exhibition in 2019, Aswan International Sculpture Symposium, The General Art Exhibition, The Cairo Youth Salon in 2018, Ostraka Arts in 2015 as well as Dai Arab Youth Festival, Luxor’s International South Art Salon and The Association of Fine Arts Lovers exhibition for five consecutive years. She has also participated in many exhibitions at Ubuntu Art Gallery including “Abstract Angles” in 2018 and “Ubuntu Revisited” in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

She has also been a recipient of multiple awards for her work including the 2019 Adam Henein second prize for sculpture, the Cairo Youth Salon, the Hassan Heshmat award in 2014 and 2017 along with the Zakaria Khoneini and the Aida Abd el-Karim awards. Her work is included in private and public collections.

Halim Yacoub – حليم يعقوب

An Egyptian sculptor born in 1937, Halim Yacoub graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University, Décor Department in 1960. He holds a Diploma from the Fine & Applied Arts Academy in Zurich in 1967. Yacoub has been moving creatively & diligently between different types of Arts such as decor, design & drilling on steel to print banknotes & postage stamps. He then moved on to ceramics, pottery & metal cast sculptures. He has created 7 metal public statues in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in association with the Artist Salah AbdelKarim from 1981 to 1985. He has held a number of exhibitions & been awarded several international a& local awards. Many of the artist’s holdings are with individuals in Egypt & abroad.

هو نحات مصري من مواليد ١٩٣٧. تخرج من كلية الفنون الجميلة، جامعة حلوان، قسم ديكور عام ١٩٦٠. حاصل على دبلوم أكاديمية الفنون الجميلة والتطبيقية في مدينة زيورخ عام ١٩٦٧. كان الفنان حليم يعقوب ينتقل بجد وابداع بين مجالات الفن المختلفة مثل الديكور والتصميم والحفر على الصلب لطباعة البنكنوت وطوابع البريد، ثم انتقل الى اشغال الخزف والبورسلين والتماثيل المعدنية. قام الفنان بأنشاء سبعة تماثيل ميدانية في جدة، المملكة السعودية بالاشتراك مع الفنان صلاح عبد الكريم من ١٩٨١ حتى ١٩٨٥. قام حليم يعقوب بالعديد من المعارض وفاز بجوائز محلية وعالمية، كما للفنان الكثير من المقتنيات لدى افراد داخل وخارج مصر
