Farah El Shafie – فرح الشافعي

Born in 1995, Farah received her BA in Graphic Design from the American University in Cairo in 2017.

She’s fascinated by everything human and finds that that’s what synthesizes her work together in terms of form. Line also plays a dominant role in unifying her practice in terms of composition, defining the subjects and conveying a controlled yet impassioned end result.

Her ultimate goal is to develop her practice and achieve an interdisciplinary nature throughout her career, and in that explore the many different arenas, styles and mediums that would contribute to her visual dialogue. She has previously participated in Ubuntu art gallery’s group exhibition “Different Melodies” in 2019.

مواليد عام ١٩٩٥، حصلت على درجة البكالوريوس في التصميم الجرافيكي من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة عام ٢٠١٧

لديها شغف بكل ما يتعلق بالإنسان، وتجد أن هذا ما يجمع عملها ببعضه من حيث الشكل. كما تلعب الخطوط دور كبير في توحيد ممارستها من حيث التكوين، وتحديد المواضيع ونقل نتيجة نهائية محكمة وفي نفس الوقت مؤثرة

هدفها الأساسي هو تطوير ممارستها والوصول إلى أساليب تفاعلية في ظل مسيرتها العملية، وفي ذلك استكشاف العديد من المجالات المختلفة، والأساليب والوسائط التي من شأنها أن تسهم في حوارتها البصرية. شاركت فرح الشافعي في معرض نغمات مختلفة بقاعة أوبونتو عام ٢٠١٩
