Khaled Sirag – خالد سراج

Born in Cairo in 1969, Khaled Sirag graduated from the Ceramics Department, faculty of Applied Arts, Helwan Univesity in 1992 where he has worked as a lecturer since 2006. He held 2 solo exhibitions at Ragheb Ayad Gallery in Gezira Art Center, Cairo in 2005 and 2012.

In 2014, he participated in a duet exhibition with Istvan Zakar and was represented with 2 duet works in the solo exhibition of Hungarian artist Anita Toth in Budapest, Hungary.

Sirag participated in more than 80 local and international exhibitions and more than 35 workshops. His work was awarded with more than 7 prizes in ceramic art competitions in Egypt and abroad. His most recent exhibition “Together”, a duet exhibition with Hungarian artist Anitha Toth, was held at Ubuntu art gallery in 2018.

 ولد خالد سراج عام ١٩٦٩ وتخرج في كلية الفنون التطبيقية قسم الخزف جامعة حلوان عام ١٩٩٢ حيث يعمل كمدرس دكتور منذ عام ٢٠٠٦. أقام الفنان معرضين فرديين بمركز الجزيرة للفنون بالقاهرة عام ٢٠٠٥ و عام ٢٠١٣، واخر بعنوان “ماعت تتلون” في قاعة أوبنتو بالزمالك في عام ٢٠١٥. شارك سراج في بودابست عام ٢٠١٤ في معرض ثنائي مع ايشتفان زاكار، وفي عملين مشتركين مع الفنانة المجرية أنيتا توت. شارك خالد سراج في أكثر من ٨٠ معرض محلي وعالمي وأكثر من ٣٥ ورشة عمل. كما حصل على أكثر من سبعة جوائز في مجال الخزف من مصر وخارجها

أقام الفنان معرض مشترك مع الخزافة المجرية أنيتا توت بعنوان “سوياً” بجاليري أوبنتو عام ٢٠١٨
