Maie Yanni – مي ينّي

طبيبة لبنانية مولودة في بريطانيا، درست في الكلية الملكية للجراحين في أيرلندا، وتخصصت في التخدير والعناية المركزة وتخدير الولادة شديد الخطورة. حصلت على دبلومة هندسة الديكور من Rhodec International عام ١٩٩٩، حيث تمحور اهتمامها حول نظرية اللون والفلسفة الصينية القديمة ” فينج شوي” وتأثيرها النفسي على بيئتنا وسلامتنا
أصبحت عضو في نقابة الحرفيين الأيرلنديين لإتقانها الرسم والكروشيه، أثناء دراستها الطب في عام ١٩٨٢. حصلت على إجازة من الطب في عام ٢٠٠٠ من أجل تحقيق طموحها كفنانة ومنسقة فنية
كفنانة عصامية ومتعددة؛ تشمل أعمالها عددًا من الوسائط منها الكولاج والرسم وفنون تشكيل الورق (الأوريجامي والكيريجامي) والكروشيه بالإضافة إلى تصميم الحلي. تعمل حاليًا بجانب الفن وتصميم الحلي ككاتبة ومنسقة ومستشارة فنية مستقلة، بالإضافة إلى كونها مستشارة تسويق لشركة Lee Brown

Maie Yanni is a British-born Lebanese Medical Doctor, qualified from The Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and specialized in Anaesthesia, Intensive Care and High-Risk Obstetric Anaesthesia.

She holds a Diploma in Interior Design from Rhodec International (1999) with a special interest in Colour Theory and the ancient philosophy of Feng Shui and their psychological impact on our environment and well-being.
While still a medical student, she qualified in 1982 as a Member of The Irish Craftsmen’s Guild for her proficiency in Painting, Drawing and Crochet fiber work.

As a multidisciplinary and self-taught artist her work encompasses a number of disciplines namely Collage, Mixed Media and Drawing, Origami and Kirigami, Crochet, Fiber art and Jewellery Design.
Besides being an artist and jewellery designer, she currently works as an independent art contributor, critic, curator and consultant. She is also a branding consultant for Lee Brown firm.

Her Collage work is part of the permanent collection at the International Museum of Collage, Assemblage & Construction in the United States.
