منى الكاتب فنانة تشكيلية تعيش في القاهرة. تستخدم العديد من الوسائط، منها التصميم والرسم الديجيتال. لديها شغف لاستخدام فنها بأدواته المتعددة لدعم قضايا اجتماعية تهمها، و خصوصا بعد زيادة الوعي بالقضايا النسوية في العام الماضي في مصر.
تحاول باستخدام فنها أن تفك الشفرات و تفتح مساحات جديدة لفهم أهمية تضامن المجتمع، نساء ورجال لتمكين المرأة و تثمين دورها.

Mona Elkateb is a visual artist based in Cairo, Egypt. She experiments with a range of mediums, including digital illustration and design. She is keen to explore the role of digital art in supporting various social causes online, in particular since the online revolution sparked by women in July 2020. Her artwork often explores the themes of sisterhood, solidarity, and empowering feminine energy.
