Philip Andrasevic – فيليب أندراسيفيتش

فيليب أندراسيفيتش فنان مصري سويدي المولد والنشأة، يعيش في القاهرة. ولد فيليب لأبوين من هواة اقتناء الأعمال الفنية ما أكسبه خبرة فنية عريضة أثرت في تناوله للفنون بشكل واضح. تعلم أندراسيفيتش الفن تحت إشراف الفنانة المصرية ليلى عزت وكانت لأسفاره المتعددة تأثيرًا في تكوينه الفني ساعده في استيعاب الحضارات الغربية والشرق أوسطية. شارك أندراسيفيتش في الحياة الفنية منذ عام 1996 ، وشارك في معرض بدار الأوبرا المصرية عام 2020. حصل فيليب على درجته العلمية في علم الأحياء من الجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة وقد كان ذلك مصدر إلهام كبير له حيث أتاح له فرصة تأمل الطبيعة وكائناتها وما تحويه من جماليات عن قرب

Born and raised in Vienna, Philip Andrasevic is an Egyptian/Swedish artist currently based in Cairo. Coming from a unique background and having avid art collector and connoisseur parents exposed him to art at a young age. Andrasevic studied under the guidance of Egyptian artist Leila Izzet and through his travels, learned traditional Chinese calligraphy while painting in the heart of ancient capital of Xi’an. Through these various influences, he attempts to assimilate the best of the Western, Middle Eastern, and Eastern civilizations. Andrasevic has been exhibiting his work since 1996 and most recently exhibited at the Cairo Opera House in 2020. His practice is greatly informed by his university degree in Biology at the American University in Cairo, as the life sciences exposed him more closely to the beauties of the natural world around and within us, and it is this which is his ultimate inspiration.
