Yousef Sabry – يوسف صبري

يوسف صبري فنان مصري ذو أصول روسية ولد ونشأ في مصر. وبعد حصوله علي شهادة في فن التصميم من جامعة جولد سميث في لندن و دراسته للنحت في سانت مارتنز، يقيم يوسف حاليًا في القاهرة حيث يعمل كفنان ومصمم لوسائط متعددة.
تدور أعمال الفنان حول موضوع رئيسي وهو بناء العالم ونشأته فيظهر ذلك من خلال خطوطة الجمالية المتأثرة بالمدرسة السريالية بشكل واضح في إطار متناسق إلى حد كبير ما يعكس خبرته في مجال التصميم. يعمل يوسف صبري في مجال تصميم الأزياء وطباعتها بشكل يلمس ويخاطب المجتمع الذي يعيش فيه عن قرب ما يجعل تصميماته عملية ومطلوبة.

Yousef Sabry is an Egyptian/Russian born and raised in Cairo. After doing a sculpture foundation in Central Saint Martins and Design degree in Goldsmiths University of London, Yousef now resides in Cairo as a multidisciplinary designer and artist. The spectrum of his work revolves around the theme of world-building, either speculatively as a designer or aesthetically and romantically as a figurative surrealist. Working closely with his community through printmaking and fashion, Yousef works towards making his work more accessible in a world with constant content.
