Mariam Essam

Mariam Essam is an Egyptian artist born in Alexandria in 1997. She graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Alexandria University in 2020 and currently works as a teaching assistant at the same faculty. She has participated in numerous exhibitions across Egypt, including the Aswan International Sculpture Symposium (2021) and the Feminine Creativity Exhibition at Khan Maghraby Gallery (2022), among others. Her achievements include winning the Silver Medal at the 5th Round of Girls’ Week in Fayoum (2020), as well as recognition in the Adam Henein Prize for Sculpture and the Agenda Exhibition (2021).

مريم عصام فنانة مصرية من مواليد الإسكندرية عام 1997. تخرجت في كلية الفنون الجميلة، جامعة الإسكندرية عام 2020، وتعمل حاليًا معيدة بالكلية نفسها. شاركت في العديد من المعارض الفنية التي أُقيمت في مصر، من بينها سمبوزيوم أسوان الدولي للنحت (2021) ومعرض الإبداع بقاعة خان المغربي (2022)، إلى جانب مشاركات فنية أخرى. حصلت مريم على الميدالية الفضية في الدورة الخامسة من أسبوع فتيات الجامعات بالفيوم (2020)، بالإضافة إلى مشاركتها المتميزة في جائزة آدم حنين للنحت ومعرض أجندة (2021).
