Abdulqader Bakhit – عبد القادر بخيت

With a background in caricature and painting, Abdulqader Bakhit’s style and subject matter are greatly influenced by childhood and the positivity associated with it. The media he uses evolves with time, but the innocence and purity found therein are constant. Hues of primary colors dominate the majority of his work and convey a warmth that transcends to the observer and transports them to a simpler, more innocent time.

Abdulqader was born in Majdoob, Sudan in 1966. He obtained a degree in Fine Arts from the University of Sudan in 1990. He is a member of the Sudanese Plastic Artists Union and the Jordanian Plastic Artists Association. Abdulqader was the recipient of a UNESCO Award in 1998, as well as an Al-Khurafee Biennial Award from Kuwait in 2006.

Bakhit spends his time between Amman, Jordan and Khartoum, Sudan. Abdulqader was the Art Director at Amman’s Dar Al-Anda Art Gallery between 2002 and 2016.

مع خلفيته في الكاريكاتير والرسم، يتأثر أسلوب عبد القادر بخيت وموضوعه بشكل كبير بالطفولة والإيجابية المرتبطة بها. تتطور الوسائط التي يستخدمها مع مرور الوقت، لكن البراءة والنقاء الموجودان فيها ثابتان. تهيمن تدرجات الألوان الأساسية على غالبية أعماله وتنقل الدفء الذي يتجاوز المشاهد وينقله إلى زمن أكثر بساطة وبراءة.

ولد عبد القادر في المجدوب بالسودان عام ١٩٦٦. حصل على شهادة في الفنون الجميلة من جامعة السودان عام ١٩٩٠. وهو عضو في اتحاد الفنانين التشكيليين السودانيين ونقابة الفنانين التشكيليين الأردنيين. حصل عبد القادر على جائزة اليونسكو عام ١٩٩٨، وكذلك جائزة بينالي الخرافي من الكويت عام ٢٠٠٦.

يقضي عبد القادر وقته بين عمان بالأردن والخرطوم بالسودان. شغل عبد القادر منصب المدير الفني في معرض دار الأندى للفنون في عمان بين عامي ٢٠٠٢ و ٢٠١٦.

Alaa AbdelRahman – آلاء عبد الرحمن

Alaa AbdelRahman, born in Cairo, in 1994, is a painter and visual artist with a degree in Fine Arts in 2018. With her work focusing primarily on oil painting, she describes her paintings as a portrayal of her reaction to the gestures of this era that formed her personality.

She took part in the Studio Khana for Contemporary Arts and Cultural Development’s Student Council program during its fifth session in 2020, which led to the group exhibition “We Are Seldom in Two Places at Once” at Drab 1718.

Alaa’s work has been featured in numerous exhibitions in Egypt including, “Different melodies ll” at Ubuntu gallery, 2022, “Threads” at Shelter art space in Alexandria, 2023, “Somewhere in time we moved on” at Arcade Gallery, 2023, and “Pelage Champollion 3rd” at Access art space, 2023.

آلاء عبد الرحمن، من مواليد القاهرة عام ١٩٩٤، هي رسامة وفنانة تشكيلية حصلت على شهادة في الفنون الجميلة عام ٢٠١٨. يركز عملها بشكل أساسي على الرسم بالالوان الزيتية، فهي تصف لوحاتها بأنها تصوير لرد فعلها على سمات هذا العصر التي شكلت شخصيتها.

شاركت في برنامج مجلس طلاب استوديو خانا للفنون المعاصرة والتنمية الثقافية خلال دورته الخامسة عام ٢٠٢٠، والذي أدى إلى المعرض الجماعي “نادرًا ما نكون في مكانين في وقت واحد” في درب ١٧١٨.

شاركت أعمال آلاء في العديد من المعارض في مصر، بما في ذلك “ألحان مختلفة” في جاليري أوبونتو ٢٠٢٢، و”خيوط” في شيلتر آرت سبيس بالإسكندرية ٢٠٢٣، و”في مكان ما في الزمن انتقلنا” في جاليري أركيد ٢٠٢٣، و “بيلاج شامبليون الثالث” في مساحة اكسيس للفنون ٢٠٢٣.

Maha Masoud – مها مسعود

Maha Masoud is an artist born in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 1969 who is currently based between Cairo and Alexandria. Masoud is intrigued by the innate process of creation and how it affects the work of her own personal realm, while associating it with reality in a spontaneous manner throughout her experimentation with digital art and collage. She has participated in exhibitions in Jeddah and Riyadh in the 90s and since has exhibited in Cairo. Masoud’s work is in private collections in Saudi Arabia, Greece and Egypt.

مها مسعود مواليد الرياض ١٩٦٩ تعيش في مصر ما بين محافظتي القاهرة والإسكندرية منذ عام 2005. تهتم مها بفكرة العمل الفطري وكيفية تأثيره علي المنتج الفني الخاص بعالمها الشخصي وربطه مع الواقع بشكل عفوي من خلال الديجيتال آرت و الكولاج علي مدار تجربتها. 

أقامت العديد من المعارض الجماعية بجدة و الرياض بالتسعينات و لها ثلاث معارض فردية بالقاهرة بساقية الصاوي ٢٠٠٦، وأتيليه القاهرة ٢٠٠٧، كونس كافيه و التجمع الأول  ٢٠٠٩.  لها مقتنات خاصة لدي أفراد بجدة و .الرياض و اليونان و مصر

Rania Khallaf – رانيا خلاف

Rania Khallaf, born in 1967, is a self-taught artist and creative writer with extensive experience in Cultural Journalism at Al Ahram Weekly newspaper. Currently working as the publication’s art critic, she is passionate about art and literature, aiming to bridge poetry and painting for a better world view. Her expressionist and surreal paintings explore existential themes such as communication and separation. Inspired by her experience in creating comics in the early nineties, Khallaf also draws from her journalism and photography background in her evolving artistic journey.

رانيا خلاف، من مواليد 1967، هي فنانة علمت نفسها وكاتبة مبدعة تتمتع بخبرة واسعة في الصحافة الثقافية بجريدة الأهرام الاسبوعية. تعمل حاليًا كناقدة فنية بالجريدة، وهي شغوفة بالفن والأدب، وتهدف إلى الربط بين الشعر والرسم من أجل رؤية أفضل للعالم. تستكشف لوحاتها التعبيرية والسريالية موضوعات وجودية مثل التواصل والانفصال. مستوحاة من خبرتها في إنشاء القصص المصورة في أوائل التسعينيات، تستمد رانيا أيضًا من خلفيتها الصحفية والتصويرية في رحلتها الفنية المتطورة.

Reem Aljeally – ريم الجعيلي

Trained as an architect, Reem Aljeally is a Sudanese visual artist and curator whose work explores the personality and life of a young woman. She draws her inspiration from personal reflection, observations, and curiosity. Her curatorial practice has been intrigued by questions of forming one’s identity in its social context, spaces we inhabit, and what forms the Sudanese contemporary scene. She founded The Muse multi studios in 2019, an integrative regional artistic organization with a contemporary art gallery in Khartoum.

She has held solo exhibitions in both Sudan and Egypt as well as several international exhibitions including “The wandering of dreams” at Melike Bilir, Hamburg, Germany, 2024, “ARTLIFE FEST” in Moscow, Russia, 2023, “Disturbance in The Nile”, Broteria art gallery, Lisbon, Portugal, 2023, “The Forest and Desert school revisited” at Circle Art Gallery, Nairobi, Kenya, 2022 and FNB Art Joburg with Eclectica contemporary in South Africa in 2022.

 تدربت كمهندسة معمارية، هي فنانة تشكيلية سودانية وقيمة فنية تستكشف أعمالها شخصية وحياة امرأة شابة. تستمد إلهامها من التفكير الشخصي والملاحظات والفضول. ممارستها الفنية تتمحور حول أسئلة تشكيل هوية الفرد في سياقها الاجتماعي، والمساحات التي نعيش فيها، وما يشكل المشهد السوداني المعاصر. أسست زا ميوز ملتي استيديوز في عام ٢٠١٩، وهي مؤسسة فنية إقليمية تكاملية تتضمن صالة عرض فني معاصر في الخرطوم.

أقامت معارض فردية في كل من السودان ومصر بالإضافة إلى العديد من المعارض الدولية منها “تجوال الأحلام” في مليكة بيلير هامبورج ألمانيا ٢٠٢٤، “ARTLIFE FEST” في موسكو روسيا ٢٠٢٣، “اضطراب في النيل” ، معرض بروتيريا للفنون، لشبونة، البرتغال، ٢٠٢٣، “إعادة النظر في مدرسة الغابة والصحراء” في معرض سيركل للفنون، نيروبي، كينيا، ٢٠٢٢و FNB Art Joburg مع Eclectica contemporary في جنوب أفريقيا في عام ٢٠٢٢.

Sherry Ehab – شيرى إيهاب

Sherry Ehab, an Egyptian artist, born in 1999 and grew up in Cairo. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts, Oil Painting Department, Helwan University, 2022. She participated in the 32nd edition of the Youth Salon at the Palace of Arts – Cairo Opera House in 2022, and “Different Melodies II” at Ubuntu Art Gallery, 2022.

شيري ايهاب، فنانة مصرية من مواليد ١٩٩٩، نشأت بالقاهرة و حاصلة علي بكالوريوس الفنون الجميلة قسم تصوير زيتي، جامعة حلوان، ٢٠٢٢. شاركت في صالون الشباب في نسخته ال ٣٢ بقصر الفنون – دار الاوبرا المصرية عام ٢٠٢٢، و معرض نغمات مختلفة النسخة الثانية الذي اقيم في جاليري اوبونتو، ٢٠٢٢
