ولدت نهى حنفي عام ١٩٨٨ ,بالجيزة، مصر وحصلت على بكالوريوس التصوير من كلية الفنون الجميلة، جامعة حلوان بالقاهرة لعام ٢٠١٠

تعمل كفنانة تشكيلية حرة وكاتبة في سياقات نقد الفنون البصرية وباحثة في مجال تاريخ الفن

يلقي مشروعها الفني الضوء على المفردات النفعية المستهلكة/المتهالكة في المحيط الإنساني والتركيز على الأثر المتبادَل بينهما في إطار بحث بصري عن جماليات القبح والفوضى

شاركت الفنانة في مسابقة مؤسسة فاروق حسني للثقافة والفنون – يناير ٢٠٢٠ وكذلك شاركت بالنتاج الفني لورشة عمل تفاعلية عن مفهوم المدينة نظمتها مؤسسة التعبير الرقمي العربي “أضف”-العرض بمعهد جوته – يوليو ٢٠١٩

و معرض “الطلائع” الدورات:٥٠،٥٥،٥٦،٥٨- بجمعية الفنون الجميلة – في الفترة ما بين -٢٠١٨-٢٠١٠ وصالون القاهرة 56 – قصر الفنون بالأوبرا – ٢٠١٣ ومعرض “شبابيك البنات”،”شبابيك البنات ٢ “- قاعة أوبونتو ٢٠١٥-٢٠١٦ كما شاركت أيضًا في الدورة ٢٢،٢٣ لصالون الشباب -٢٠١١-٢٠١٢ ومعرض”عشرين وشوية”، معرض”خان المغربى”،٢٠١١

للفنانة كتابات في النقد الفني نشرت في دوريات مصرية مطبوعة (جريدة روزاليوسف – الصفحة الفنية لجريدة نهضة مصر في الفترة بين ٢٠١٢-٢٠١٣ ودراسة منشورة بالكتيب الخاص بمعرض”بعد ثلاثي”- متحف الإسكندرية ٢٠١٧ – كما لها مشاركات في مسابقات للنقد الفني

Noha Hanafi is an Egyptian artist born in 1988, in Giza, Egypt. She holds a BA in Painting from the Faculty of Fine Arts, Helwan University in Cairo (2010).

She is a freelance painter, visual arts critic, and a researcher in art history. Her art project focuses on the aesthetics of consumption & depreciation in the human world, focusing on the mutual effect between them as part of a visual search for the beauty of ugliness and chaos.

She participated in the Farouk Hosni Foundation Competition for Culture and Arts (January 2020), as well as an artistic production of an interactive workshop on the concept of the city organized by The Arab Digital Expression Foundation “Adef” and exhibited at The Goethe Institute, (July 2019).

She also participated in “Al Talaea Exhibition” editions: 50, 55, 58, 56, Fine Arts Society (2010 – 2018), The Cairo Salon 56, Palace of The Arts, Opera House (2013), “The Girls’ Windows” and ” The Girls’ Windows II” at Ubuntu Art Gallery (2015 – 2016). She also participated in the 22^nd & 23rd editions of the Youth Salon, (2011-2012) and “Twenty and a Little” at Khan Al Maghrabi (2011).

Noha has several published articles on art criticismm including – Rose Al Youssef Newspaper and the arts page in Nahdet Misr Newspaper (2012-2013), and a published paper in the exhibition booklet of “Third Perspective”, Alexandria National Museum 2017, as well as participating in art criticism competitions.
