Omar Sedeek – عمر صديق

ولد عمر صديق مصطفى في مصر عام ١٩٨٠. شارك في العديد من المعارض المحلية والدولية منذ عام ٢٠١٢ وحتى الآن. حصل عمرعلى العديد من الجوائز مثل جائزة المسابقة الدولية في كوريا الجنوبية عام ٢٠١٣ (جائزة الموضوع) والجائزة الخاصة لنفس المسابقة عام ٢٠١٤ و مسابقة سوريا الدولية التاسعة للكاريكاتير عام ٢٠١٤ (الجائزة الخاصة) كما حصل على ميدالية فخرية من السفير الهندي في مصر عن لوحة الزعيم غاندي عام ٢٠١٧، فاز أيضًا بالمركز الثاني في مسابقة الفنان محمد عبلة للكاريكاتير عام ٢٠١٥ وحصل على شهادة تقدير في مسابقة جورج بهجوري عامي ٢٠١٦ و ٢٠١٧

كما فاز في مهرجان بورتريه الكاريكاتير الدولي الأول (بكين ٢٠١٨) وجائزة المجلس الهندي للعلاقات الثقافية – جائزة (الفنون الرقمية وفن العصر الحديث) في مسابقة الرسم الدولية “فلنتحد ضد كورونا – التعبير من خلال الفن”، ٢٠٢٠

عمر صديق هو عضو الجمعية المصرية للكاريكاتير كما اختير عضوًا في لجنة التحكيم في مسابقة لبنان الدولية للفنون والحرف ٢٠١٨ وقد نشرت العديد من رسوماته في كتيبات دولية مختلفة باليونان وإيران وبلغاريا وكوريا وتركيا وفرنسا وغيرها

Omar Sedeek is an Egyptian artist born in 1980. He has participated in several exhibitions both locally in Egypt and internationally since 2012. He has also been presented with several awards including SICACO 2013 Contest, Korea (theme prize), SICACO 2014 Contest, Korea (special prize),  The 9th International Cartoon Contest SYRIA 2014 (special prize), The honourary medallion from the Ambassador of India in Egypt (2017), 2^nd place in Mohamed Abla Caricature award (2015), Certificates of appreciation from the George Bahgoury award (2016 and 2017) as well as an award in The First International Caricature Portrait Festival – Beijing 2018 and The Indian Council of Cultural Relations Award, “Digital and Modern Art” award in the international painting competition “Let us unite against Corona” 2020.

Omar is a member in the Egyptian Caricature Society and was selected as a member of the judging committee in the Lebanese International Competition (2018) and his work has been published in several publications in Greece, Iran, Bulgaria, Korea, Tukey, France and more.
